BioGrid Australia operates a federated platform for the secure and ethical integration of genomic and clinical data for knowledge sharing and biomedical research. This workshop will provide attendees with practical knowledge of how a federated model can address the data sharing challenges of protecting privacy and intellectual property as well as complying with ethical and legal requirements for biomedical research.

This workshop is open to all members of Malaysian Node of the Human Variome Project (MyHVP) and Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) staffs with limited seat offer and free of charge. The workshop is to provide a better understanding regarding the role of BioGrid Australia in helping researchers to develop genetic diseases database in Malaysia.
