The third of the Human Variome Project's biennial meetings concluded today at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. The focus of the meeting was Implementation and Integration, a key theme for the Human Variome Project. The meeting, spanning five days, was hailed as a success by the participants. In particular, the participants made it clear that the Human Variome Project should come under the joint auspices of UNESCO and WHO.
