The language of the conference will be ENGLISH. There will be no translation services available. This meeting is designed to run prior to the Human Genome Variation Society Meeting "Clinical Genetics & Human Genome Variation" http://www.hgvs.org/Philly08/ to be held on 11th November at the same venue. If you are interested in attending both meetings there is a discounted joint registration available.
Conference venue
The conference will be held at The Hilton Garden Inn Center City, which is opposite the convention centre where the ASHG meeting will be held. It is as a Satellite meeting to the American Society of Human Genetics annual meeting http://www.ashg.org/2008meeting/index.shtml.

Philadelphia is easily accessible from all major US and International cities.
Airport
The airport is located eight miles from downtown Philadelphia and is served by all major domestic carries and services over 100 cities in the United States. The International terminal is a gateway for flights from Europe, and Canada with connections to Asia.
A one-way taxi fare from the airport to downtown is around $27.
Train
